Ph.champion Asawood's heaven and earth a.k.a "STAR"

PH. Hof Asawood's Cross fire a.k.a "Bruce"

notice how many the pups here in the picture.. the 10th is still not included in this shot

we have a beautifull dobermann named star! shes loving and infact she is already a ph. champion finished her title in a very young age.. we decided to semi retire her for i while and plan her to be bred, so we decided to bred her with one of the famous doberman named "bruce" which is retired from showing and he is now at his prime 8 yrs old. but still posses the great form of a good dobermann. his owner is also a friend who is dedicated in breeding good quality dogs. it all happened with much anticipation and exitement.. two months of waiting is definetly worth it. on her 60th day i checked on her it was i think 11pm and i had this feeling that she will labor later on, and my hitch was right on the spot. she started giving signs that she will indeed labor later on. i waited and waited... after an hour she started laboring and her water bag broke and i was so nervous that time cause i still dont know if she can handle things(this is her first time giving birth) then came the first pup! it was a girl and i was very excited looking forward to the next pup that will come out... then came the 2nd,3rd,4th,................. up to the 9th! pup and it was already 7am! so literally i was up together with my kennel boy the whole night!!! i checked her and it seems to me that the 9th pup was the last one, so i decided to end the day and have some much awaited sleep!! i dont why but it seems that my body was already tired but my mind is telling me not to sleep yet, weird! but eventually i dozed off. all of a sudden i woke up after 2hrs. of sleep and decided to check on the pups and ofcourse there mom, so i went down to the kennel and glance at the puppies they were fine sleeping and every now and then crying,so i said to myself they must be hungry now, so i checked with there mom and shes literally down and sleeping.. cant blame her you can just imagine the pain of giving birth 9 big pups... as i touched her stomach i had this weird feeling that i seem to felt there is still something inside.. so i asked help from my helper to help her up top her feet for me to feel her stomach. i cant believe what i felt inside there is still 1 inside!!! i said to myself this is imposible... to make sure i asked the help of one of my friend veterenarian. i called him up to check on my dog.. he came and checked on star then to my surprise he confirmed it that indeed one more pup inside.. whew! here we go again wait and wait...... it was a long wait..... it took 24 hrs more! the next day as i went down early in the morning to check on her.. yet still no signs of the next pup to come out! i was i bit worried now... there must be something wrong with this.. im starting to get very worried. what if something happened to the pup inside, what if star really cant do it by herself.. i was thinking already if i need to bring her to the vet and have a ceasarian operation, i really must do something quick now! so i decided to rush her in the clinic and be evaluated by my friend vet. so he said lets still try if i can help her out the force the pup to come out without doing the operation.. so i was like pushing tru her stomach while the vet is trying to get a grab of the pup inside.... all of a sudden i saw the puppy coming out..... wow! i cant beleive it the pup is still alive and kickin!!! it was a relief indeed!!! at last the long wait ended and i am very happy and thankful that everthing went alright.... it was a hell of an expierence,,, but it was all worth it!!

PH. Gr. Ch. Chomuli of MingDoghouse (roc)

here are some of the pictures of our Mico,

andy's training session

here are some of the pictures taken during my training with andy (Saiyai thai Misty Meadow for Diamond king) earlier this year i went to pick up andy in thailand from my dear friend Mrs. Joom of Saiyai Kennel

Diamond King Kennel

let me start this with a short history of our kennel, it all started in 1989. with much influence from my grandfather who basically loves dogs and eventually got into dogshows. his breed is mainly focus with German shepherd dogs, and eventually infuse other breeds . being in the family who simply adores and love dogs, my father got himself with his own set of dogs i remember our first pure breed dog was a Dobermann when i was still 7 yrs old. boxers, akita, bassethound, pug to name a few of the breeds that we have back then, at first we are not actually into showing dogs. but perhaps due to the strong influence of my grandfather we slowly got introduce with dogshows here in manila.

The breeds that we started showing was our own breeding bassethound. at first people would only criticize and laugh at this particular dog the we had, well its all good cause at first it was never our goal to win just the fun of watching our dog compete with other dogs in the show ring satisfied us already. later on came the challenge also to win! i remember my dad was so focus and patient enough to learn the basic conditioning of a good show dog. ofcourse patience and perseverance has its prize. our dog was starting to win and eventually conqeur all other competition in his breed even in group competition. even imported dogs from u.s had a beating out of him. now thats what you call sweet success!lol so thats how it all started. after a while we also had different other breeds like american cocker spaniels we continued showing and breeding dogs for quite sometime but due to conflicts with our schedule we decided to stop breeding for a while and focus on our bussiness. it was really a long wait till eventually were back! i guess the passion for dogs really runs in the blood!lol now we are concentrating on breeds like chihuahua, pomeranian, dobermann, siberian husky, and english bulldog. Being the 3rd generation in our family who is into dogs i work hand in hand with my dad with our kennel right now. it is always an achievement for us to improve and improve the quality of breeding we produce, also it is a plus that in the process we meet new friends that share the same passion. i have to mention one dear friend that i am lucky to meet, mrs. Joom of Saiyai kennel in thailand. i am very honored indeed to have her as a friend and a mentor.
